Re “Miley Cyrus Opens the Throttle at Staples,” by Mikael Wood, Sept. 24: Like Mikael Wood, my 7-year-old daughter, resplendent in jeans, a pink top and silver scarf, and sporting a large, missing-tooth smile, didn’t see Miley “give her fans a deeper idea of who she is and what her music means.” I guess she was too busy having a good time.
Hopefully, she won’t be similarly disappointed in her quest to find the existential meaning of SpongeBob SquarePants.
