Danaher Corp. stepped up its restructuring efforts and said it will cut an additional 3,300 jobs and close 30 facilities, nearly twice as many as previously planned.
The toolmaking company also will pay $1.1 billion, including debt, for MDS Inc.’s instruments business in a move to add mass spectrometers to its offerings.
