Update: The Kings made a number of moves heading into their back-to-back games. They agreed to a three-year extension Friday with goaltender Jonathan Quick, worth $1.8 million a season, and defenseman Davis Drewiske, worth $600,000 a season. They recalled forward Scott Parse from the Manchester Monarchs. He will play on the team’s second line with Jarrett Stoll and Teddy Purcell, Coach Terry Murray said. The Kings are also without Justin Williams for the second consecutive game because of what Murray labeled a “lower-body issue.” Williams will be “out for another couple of days,” Murray said. For now, Wayne Simmonds will take Williams’ place on the first line alongside Anze Kopitar and Ryan Smyth. The Kings lost to Phoenix in their first game of the season, 6-3.
