An overloaded canoe capsized on a reservoir in Burkina Faso, killing at least 15 women and children, state radio reported.
The accident occurred Saturday in the village of Toesse, about 100 miles north of the capital, Ouagadougou.
Villagers were crossing the reservoir to attend a funeral, the report said. One baby was missing and feared dead, and five people survived, the report said.
