The Lakers traded Shaquille O’Neal for Lamar Odom and Caron Butler in what was then considered a debacle. We then traded Butler for Kwame Brown, and then traded Brown for Pau Gasol. So, essentially we traded Shaq for Lamar Odom and Pau Gasol.
