Skip the actors’ politics, please
I DISLIKE reading articles that include the political opinions of actors, actresses, celebrities, etc., such as the interview with Olivia Wilde of “House” in the Sunday Conversation, [“She’s Ready to Operate,” by Choire Sicha, Sept. 21], unless the article deals specifically with politics.
When I read an interview, TV or movie review, I don’t want to know an actor’s politics, even though I may agree (as I did in this case).
Quite frankly, I can’t imagine why readers would care. Next time, if you need to fit the page, just please use extra spacing between paragraphs.
