at New Mexico 85, Cal State Northridge 74: Roman Martinez came off the bench to score a game-high 20 points for the Lobos. Willie Galick led the Matadors (1-3) with 17 points, scoring nine of those from the free-throw line. The score was close until New Mexico (3-2) went on a 16-2 run midway through the first half.
at San Francisco 73, UC Santa Barbara 72: Dior Lowhorn scored nine of his 17 points in the final 3:30 to help rally the Dons. Freshman Angelo Caloiaro added a season-high 15 points for the Dons (4-1), who won their second home game. Chris Devine scored a season-high 24 points to lead the Gauchos (1-3), who had an 11-point lead going into the final five minutes.
at Wagner 72, Loyola Marymount 51: Joey Mundweiler scored 16 points to help Wagner extend Loyola Marymount’s winless streak to five games. Jamal Smith and Llew Radford each had 12 points for the Seahawks (3-1). LaRon Armstead led the Lions (0-5) with 11 points.
WOMEN
USC 69, at Pepperdine 55: Freshman guard Ashley Corral scored 20 points and tied a school record by making six three-pointers for USC (2-1). With the win, the Trojans remained perfect against the Waves with their 17th straight win over Pepperdine (2-2). Jazmine Jackson led the Waves with 14 points while Miranda Ayim had 12 points and eight rebounds.
