Update -- Goalie Erik Ersberg will make his eighth straight start for the Kings. He has allowed 14 goals and has a 4-2-1 record in that stretch. Patrick O’Sullivan will skate on the top line with Anze Kopitar and Dustin Brown for the second time this season. The trio played together much of last season and had combined for 87 goals. The Capitals may be without Alexander Semin, the NHL’s second-leading scorer. He has a back and shoulder injury.
