Buyer be praised

THAT was an interesting article about Shelby Lynne [“This Time, She’s Carrying a Torch,” Jan. 13]. The most interesting part for me, as a music collector, were the tidbits about her run to Amoeba Music (one of my favorite haunts) and what music actually means to her. I am always curious what is in the music collection of people who make music. I suspect that some current “performers” collect little more than “Now That’s What I Call Music” CDs.
