High notes

Bill Dwyre writes, “If Wooden had the time, health and youth to do so, he would spend just as much time imparting his wisdom to a tuba player from Occidental as he would to a 6-foot-10 center.”

I regularly attend basketball games at Occidental, but I have never seen a tuba in the gym. However, John Wooden has possibly imparted his wisdom to his great-grandson, John Impelman, who plays forward for Oxy.
