* at Dallas 3, Minnesota 1: Antti Miettinen scored two goals to help the Stars end a four-game losing streak. Mike Ribeiro, who signed a new five-year, $25-million contract Monday, added two assists for Dallas.
* at Edmonton 4, N.Y. Islanders 0: Mathieu Garon made 35 saves for his third shutout for the Oilers, who learned before the game that left winger Raffi Torres will have surgery to repair a torn knee ligament and will miss the rest of the season.
* at Ducks 5, Nashville 2: Chris Pronger and Corey Perry scored power-play goals 1:10 apart in the second period.
