Viewing, service set for pitcher Dock Ellis

A viewing for Dock Ellis, the former major league pitcher who died of liver disease Dec. 19, will be held Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Angelus Funeral Home, 3875 S. Crenshaw Blvd., Los Angeles 90008. A public service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Glory Christian Fellowship International, 225 West Torrance Blvd., Carson 90745.
