Holiday closures

Today is Cesar Chavez Day. The following schedule will be in effect in observance of the holiday:
Government: County and state offices and courts will be closed. Most city halls will be open.
Schools: Some public schools will be open; check with your local school district. UC Irvine and Cal State Fullerton will be closed. Chapman University will be open.
Mail: Will be delivered; post offices will be open.
Libraries: Most branches will be open.
Banks: Most will be open.
Public transportation: Orange County Transportation Authority buses and Metrolink trains will run on normal schedules.
Trash collection: Pickup will not be delayed.
