Bombardier, China Aviation in pact

Bombardier Inc. reached an agreement with China Aviation Industry Corp. I, the largest Chinese plane maker, to jointly develop mid-size jetliners.
China Aviation plans to invest $400 million for research, development, equipment and new facilities to build parts for Montreal-based Bombardier’s planned C series aircraft in China. Bombardier will invest $100 million to help develop the plane.
