Children’s Hospital aide admits eight sex crimes

A former respiratory therapist at Rady Children’s Hospital pleaded guilty Tuesday to eight counts of lewd acts upon children under his care.
Under a plea bargain with county prosecutors, Wayne Bleyle, 55, will be sentenced to 45 years and eight months in state prison.
Bleyle admitted to taking pornographic pictures of children at the hospital and trafficking in child pornography on the Internet.
Investigators found 100,000 such images on his home computer, prosecutors said.
