A 2-year-old girl was critically injured Saturday night in Moreno Valley when an SUV driven by a 12-year-old crashed through a living room.
The boy driving the Ford Explorer was not injured when he crashed into an apartment building about 7:30 p.m. in the 24400 block of Myers Avenue, said Investigator Jerry Franchville of the Moreno Valley Police Department. But the 2-year-old girl suffered severe injuries when she was pinned between the vehicle and the living room couch. A 12-year-old girl who was also in the apartment suffered a leg injury.
