State senator pleads guilty to bribery

A veteran state senator pleaded guilty to bribery, admitting he took $3,000 in FBI money in a corruption investigation.
The trial for Sen. Ward Crutchfield, 78, was scheduled to begin Monday in Memphis. The Chattanooga Democrat faces a maximum of five years in prison with the plea agreement.
