Freeway passenger dies in crash and fire

A Trabuco Canyon man was killed early Tuesday when the car in which he was riding, driven by his daughter, hit a center divider and burst into flames on the Riverside Freeway.
Scott Wesley Turner, 55, died at Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Anaheim after the 12:30 a.m. accident just west of Imperial Highway. His 25-year-old daughter, whose name was not released, was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange for observation, a spokesman for the California Highway Patrol said.
