Early rush for ‘Grease’ tickets

The Broadway revival of “Grease” doesn’t start previews until July 24, but the 1950s-era musical has racked up $1.3 million in advance ticket sales in just two days -- on the heels of the Sunday debut of NBC’s “You’re the One That I Want,” the weekly casting search for the revival’s lead roles.
NBC’s on-air judges for the would-be Sandy Dumbrowskis and Danny Zukos are Kathleen Marshall, who will direct and choreograph the Broadway production, “Grease” co-creator Jim Jacobs and producer David Ian.
