About those lift ticket prices . . .

I liked the article about ski resorts [“Making New Inroads at State’s Many Ski Resorts,” Travel Insider, Dec. 9]. But you didn’t mention lift ticket prices. Maybe you should have included that since you hyped Mammoth Mountain so much.
Are you aware that an early season one-day ticket for an adult is $74 (more during holidays)? With prices like that, skiing is going to become a luxury for the rich.
