Magnets: An article in Wednesday’s California section on a court ruling regarding the Los Angeles school system’s magnet program indicated that two attorneys for the Pacific Legal Foundation, Paul Beard and his co-counsel, Sharon Browne, disagreed whether a court desegregation order was still in effect. Both attorneys believe the order is no longer in effect.
