An Italian manger scene
Named after the Italian word for “manger,” Presepe is a tiny porcelain Nativity scene that’s at once reminscent of Fisher-Price toys and the art of Yoshitomo Nara. Designed by Massimo Giacon, Marcello Jori and Miriam Mirri, the manger scene ($92) is sure to delight youngsters as well as Dwell readers. It’s new from Alessi, available at the company’s flagship store at Diva, 301 N. Robertson Blvd., Los Angeles, (310) 276-7096. We also spotted it at the L.A. Phil Store at Walt Disney Concert Hall, 151 S. Grand Ave., Los Angeles, (213) 972-3440.
