Borrego Springs: An article in Saturday’s California section about the residents of Borrego Springs dealing with an impending water shortage attributed a statement to the wrong person. Lane Sharman, not Eleanor Shimeall, said the area is filled with older “ultraconservative Californians who move away to the desert to not be bothered.”
