Medicines left for S. Korean hostages

From Times Wire Reports
Afghan doctors delivered medicines for 21 South Koreans kidnapped by Taliban rebels more than two weeks ago.
About $1,200 worth of antibiotics, painkillers, vitamin tablets and heart pills were dropped in a desert area in Ghazni province, as demanded by the rebels.
The Taliban have killed two captives and are threatening to kill the rest if the Afghan government fails to release rebel prisoners. Kabul has refused, saying doing so would encourage more kidnappings.
