Gang-related shooting leaves young man dead

Police are investigating the death of a 21-year-old Santa Ana man killed during a gang-related shooting late Saturday night, authorities said.
The shooting was reported at 10:22 p.m. in the 1200 block of West Pine Street. Police said they found the victim on a lawn with several gunshot wounds in the chest.
Santa Ana Police Cmdr. Ruben Ibarra said Sunday that the victim was pronounced dead at a hospital. His name will not be released until next of kin are notified.
