Officials investigate illness at sorority event

Health officials are investigating a possible outbreak of a food-borne illness Sunday at a convention of sorority members. More than 600 sorority members and alumni from 10 Southland universities attended the event. Four of the schools report illnesses, with symptoms including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and fever.
