[On Wednesday] we didn’t,” Bryant said. “Yes we laid an egg. But that’s normal. And that’s what I told the players afterward.” The Mercury’s Diana Taurasi (23.2) and rookie Cappie Pondexter (21.7) could become the first teammates to average 20 points each in a regular season.
