Inside the closet of Dobie Gillis

MY dear friend Sheila James Kuehl (a.k.a. Zelda Gilroy and a state senator) just sent me an e-mail and told me to check out Chris Erskine’s column [“The Post-Metrosexual Man,” July 20]. “What would Dobie Gillis wear?” I can tell you, I have worn the same thing for 50 years: check shirt and khaki pants. Glad to know that we share the same fashion sense!
