Former PepsiCo staffing executive joins Denny’s

Denny’s Corp., a restaurant chain targeted in racial discrimination lawsuits in recent years, named former PepsiCo Inc. executive Louis Laguardia to the new position of vice president for talent acquisition and diversity.
Laguardia was vice president of staffing and diversity for PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay North America. He has more than 25 years of experience in human resources, diversity and general management, Spartanburg, S.C.-based Denny’s said in a statement.
