Whetting his appetite for Paris
WHAT a great article on Julia Child and food in Paris [“France Was Her Entree, Then the World Was Her Oyster,” Her World, Dec. 10]. It just made me want to jump up and make reservations at the restaurants writer Susan Spano mentioned, to shop in the cooking supplies store and to sign up for a cooking class. (Actually that would be great for my wife, who is very talented but lacks formal training.)
Thanks for bringing Paris alive. Spano has a way of writing that is simply exciting to read.
I’m going to set this article aside for our trip to Europe in the spring. And when we are in Paris, I’m going to use it as a guide.
