Pining for the days of yore in Travel
I write to express my agreement with reader Sherry Quesada (Letters, Dec. 17) that the Travel section, my favorite part of the Sunday paper and largely the reason I subscribe to it, is shrinking in quantity and quality.
I long for the olden days when Jerry Hulse was the editor and the Travel section was thick, informative, comprehensive and always filled with great stories and tidbits of insight.
Your current editor and staff do a sufficient job, and they deserve praise.
However, I think there is much room for improvement.
