Heath sinks Loyola Marymount

Brandon Heath scored 25 points to become the Mountain West Conference career scoring leader with 1,782 points, and host San Diego State (10-2) defeated Loyola Marymount, 74-63, in a nonconference game Saturday.
Brandon Worthy led the Lions (7-5) with 22 points.
Cal State Fullerton 94, Bethune-Cookman 65 -- Bobby Brown scored 47 points, a single-game record for the host Titans (7-2), surpassing the mark of 45 points by Jon Brettman in 1960.
Pepperdine 101, Northern Arizona 86 -- Marvin Lea scored 22 points at Malibu and the Waves (3-9) scored 100 points for the first time since December 2002.
Washington State 69, Cal State Northridge 50 -- Jonathan Heard scored 20 points, but the visiting Matadors (6-5) couldn’t handle the Cougars (10-1).
UC Irvine 70, Sam Houston State 62 -- Chuma Awaji had 15 points and 14 rebounds as the Anteaters (4-6) won in overtime.

USC 65, Houston 42 -- Nadia Parker had a game-high 16 points at the Galen Center and the Trojans (6-4) won their third game in a row.
