Memorial service is set for helicopter crew

A public memorial service this weekend will honor the crew of the Mercy Helicopter that crashed Sunday night near the summit of Cajon Pass. The crew was returning from dropping a patient off at Loma Linda University Medical Center.
The service will start at 11 a.m. Saturday at High Desert Church, 14545 Hook Blvd. Images of the crew -- Pilot Paul LaTour, Flight Nurse Katrina Kish and Paramedic Jerry Miller -- can be viewed at www.sbcfire.org/newsreleases/index.asp

Memorial: A brief in some editions of Thursday’s California section incorrectly reported that the date for a public memorial service for the crew of a Mercy Air helicopter that crashed near Devore would be Saturday. The memorial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the High Desert Church in Victorville.
