‘Fragile’ notion

AS an Oscar-winning filmmaker, please allow me to be the first to congratulate Rachel Abramowitz on her insightful review of Peter O’Toole’s face [“ ‘I Am Human, All Too Bloody Human.’ ” Dec. 3]. She states that “one misplaced thump could send him reeling.” If it is true, I can imagine that when O’Toole reads that, it might be enough to have him put a bullet through his head -- that is if he isn’t too “fragile” to pull the trigger.
No wonder everyone is running out to have plastic surgery. They’re all afraid Abramowitz might decide to do a story about them!
