LANELL D. GOODMAN, of Newport Beach, was amazed to see this baboon taking a leisurely stroll along the highway in an oceanside residential neighborhood of Cape Town, South Africa, in August. Goodman took the photo from a passing van, after leaving the hotel for some sightseeing. She used a Canon Power Shot S400 Digital ELPH. “It was just such fun,” Goodman says of spotting the baboon. “I couldn’t believe my eyes.”
