Hours-old baby boy discovered in bushes

Orange County sheriff’s deputies were searching Saturday for the mother of a newborn found in bushes in a residential area.
The boy, with his umbilical cord attached, was found about 10:45 p.m. Friday on Santa Gertrudes Avenue near Santa Cruz Street.
He was recovering from hypothermia in a hospital Saturday.
