Record execs overrated

JIMMY IOVINE? Guys like this we can thank for allowing our industry to crash and burn. Why don’t people stop talking about his involvement with John Lennon? So what if the guy was an intern/tea boy and was lucky to have his picture snapped while in the studio with John -- please! Why not talk about how the record industry is dead, but the music business is alive and kicking with great artists out there who actually have a shot now! Why not gather all these “record titans” and put them on that TV show “Lost,” where we can watch them all count their money and where they will never be rescued!
