Oil Production Woes Not Limited to Mexico

The decline in oil production noted in “Will Mexico Soon Be Tapped Out?” (July 24) is only the beginning.
In 30 years we have seen a vast oil reserve discovered, aggressively developed and now just as aggressively depleted. The same fate is scheduled for every oil field on this planet.
It is just like drinking a milkshake. You hear a little noise, and then it’s gone.
