A gun-toting man on Tuesday robbed a San Juan Capistrano bank for the second time in two weeks.
The robbery occurred about 9 a.m. at the California Bank and Trust branch in the 3200 block of Camino Capistrano, authorities said.
Wearing a wig and dark clothing, the man walked up to a teller and ordered her to hand over money. He ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
“He walked in like Western days -- gun drawn,” said Jim Amormino, a spokesman for Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
No shots were fired, he said.
Bank tellers and video footage confirmed that the same man -- described as white, 35 to 40 years old, 6 feet tall and weighing about 200 pounds -- robbed the bank Aug. 30.
