Heroin Discovered in Kindergartner’s Pocket

A kindergarten teacher in Philadelphia found eight bags of heroin in a 5-year-old student’s pocket, police said.
The matter was under investigation and the boy’s mother could be charged, police official William Colarulo said.
“We are shocked and saddened” that a parent could place a child in such danger, school spokesman Fernando Galliard said.
