Slipped Disk Won’t Hinder Blair’s Work

Prime Minister Tony Blair was treated at a London hospital for a slipped disk but was expected to continue with his duties uninterrupted, his office announced.
Blair, 52, left the hospital after treatment to go to his country residence, Chequers, his office at 10 Downing Street said.
Dr. Andrew Platts, the radiologist who treated the prime minister, said he had been given an anti-inflammatory injection that would probably correct the problem.
