articulated manga action figures, Comic-Con probably won’t disappoint. Among the notable moments:

* “Superman Returns”: An early taste of the movie revival of the first and most famous superhero, arriving in summer 2006. Director Bryan Singer is flying in from the set in Australia with a specially prepared teaser to the Warner Bros. film. 10:30 a.m. Saturday

* “Star Wars Extravaganza”: That Lucasfilm and the “Star Wars” franchise have a “director of fan relations” says a lot about the maturation of the fan scene. That exec, Steve Sansweet, will hold a presentation on the past, present and future of the Skywalkers and their galaxy. With some sneak peeks promised, expect a crowd. 4:45 p.m. Friday

* The 50th anniversary of the Jim Henson Co.: The late puppeteer and his characters will be paid homage during this presentation. In addition to rare old footage, the crowd will get some sneak peeks of projects. 5:30 p.m. Friday

* “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.” The beloved C.S. Lewis classic is headed to the screen. A preview panel featuring the director, Andrew Adamson, and others convenes. 12:30 p.m. Sunday

* “The Simpsons”: Matt Groening and his loopy behind-the-scenes cohorts from the long-running sitcom share tales from Springfield. 4:30 p.m. Saturday

* Forrest J. Ackerman: The editor of “Famous Monsters of Filmland” and well-known collector of the bizarre returns to discuss his career, which has imprinted several generations of filmmakers and artists. 10:30 a.m. Friday
