Mother of 6 Fatally Shot in School Courtyard

A 42-year-old woman was gunned down in a school courtyard Tuesday morning moments after dropping off her children.
Hours later, a man matching the description of the woman’s estranged husband was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in a vacant parking lot south of the Golden Gate Bridge.
Deanne Bradford was shot multiple times at Dr. William L. Cobb School in the Pacific Heights neighborhood about 7:30 a.m., said Officer Maria Oropeza.
Bradford’s relatives told reporters that the couple were in a custody battle over one of Bradford’s six children.
