From Times staff and wire reports
Investors anticipate continued price increases in the housing market, and they are more optimistic about the performance of real estate investments than returns offered by the stock market, according to the June UBS/Gallup Index of Investor Optimism.
Among the findings: 63% of investors expect housing prices to rise over the next six months, only 13% foresee a decline in housing prices over the next six months and 23% expect prices to hold steady. About 38% think now is a good time to buy.
