Pedestrian Struck, Killed While Crossing 1st Street

A man was struck and killed late Sunday as he crossed 1st Street in Santa Ana, police said.
Casto Figueroa Brito, 37, was hit by an SUV before midnight near Center Street, police said. He was not in a crosswalk at the time, authorities said. Brito was declared dead at the scene.
