AFTER taking a photo workshop in Santa Fe, N.M., Hal Myers put his new skills to use on a July road trip across the Southwest. This shot, a 30-second exposure taken with his Canon EOS 20D, is from Antelope Canyon, a Navajo Nation park near Page, Ariz. The slot canyon, carved by wind and water, is narrow and only about 100 yards long, he said. “Light is ethereal in there,” said Myers, who lives in downtown L.A.
