Woman Hurt in Last Month’s Tornado Dies

A woman injured last month when a tornado swept through her Evansville-area mobile home park has died, bringing the storm’s death toll to 24.
Laura Furgerson, 45, was hospitalized for two weeks after the Nov. 6 tornado ripped the roof off her house and threw her more than 100 feet.
She was recovering at home Nov. 30 when she complained of stomach pains and was readmitted to the hospital.
She died Saturday.
