Carry this sign: Will wake for food
I would like to make a suggestion for air travelers who might want to sleep but don’t want to miss the meal service. When I flew Virgin Atlantic several years ago, they provided a goody bag that included sticky labels saying “Wake me for food” and “Do not wake me for food” and suggested affixing them to your headrest as desired. When the label wore out, I created some of my own and carry them with my passport. Flight attendants think it’s a great idea, and they don’t have to guess.
