Paul McCartney will be back in the U.S. of A. this fall with a 28-date tour including stops Nov. 11 at the Pond in Anaheim and concluding Nov. 29 at Staples Center in L.A.
McCartney, 62, says he’ll perform some material from his Beatles, Wings and solo albums that he’s never done live. The tour also will visit some cities where the ex-Beatle has never played live, including Des Moines and Omaha.
He has a new studio album due to coincide with the concert tour. When McCartney toured North America in 2002, he grossed $103.3 million on 53 dates, for which the average ticket price was $130.
Tickets for the new “US” tour, which opens Sept. 16 in Miami, go on sale Friday.
