Glamour duo for L.A. ‘Boheme’

Roberto Alagna and Angela Gheorghiu, oft dubbed “opera’s love couple,” will sing three performances of Puccini’s “La Boheme” for Los Angeles Opera next season, officials confirmed Friday.
The glamorous husband-and-wife team will sing Dec. 10, 14 and 17 during the Nov. 20-Dec. 19 run of Puccini’s popular work. Tenor Marco Berti and soprano Ana Maria Martinez are slated to sing the other performances. Single tickets go on sale Aug. 1.
